Back-to-back drift runs on an EPOXY54 block

Does EPOXY54 cause overheating?

Not with Partial Fill. The epoxy sits only in the top 3/4" of the water jacket, where the cylinders move most. Coolant still flows underneath, so stock cooling is kept. Most customers run it in daily-driven cars.

Does it break down with coolant or heat?

There are no reported cases of heat or coolant-cycle degradation.

Will the head gasket still seal?

Yes. The fill stops 0.5 mm below the deck surface so the gasket seals on the block, and coolant passages are drilled through the epoxy to match the gasket.

Do I need a machine shop?

No. The install is 5 steps in your garage: fill the lower jacket with sugar or salt, pour the epoxy, cure 24 hours, drill the coolant passages, then flush.

Does it work on cast iron blocks?

Yes. It bonds reliably to cast iron. EPOXY54's horsepower record came from a cast-iron 7.3L Godzilla V8.

Does it work on my engine layout?
