This genuine ARP Head Stud Kit is tailored specifically for the N54 engine.
It's crucial to emphasize that our Head Stud Kit is not a retrofit sourced from a Chrysler or Volvo stud kit. In contrast to those kits, ours is tailored for BMW N54 engines.
The kit includes:
(14) 11mm ARP Head Studs
(14) ARP Nuts for 11mm Studs
(14) ARP Washers designed for 11mm Studs
ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Lubricant
Installation requires drilling and tapping the four 9mm holes in the engine block to enlarge them to 11mm, ensuring compatibility with all 14 studs. This kit was intended to be used with the NS300L kit for the N54.
We do not offer an option for ARP head studs with outer 9mm studs for a factory fit as it has been proven that OEM stretch bolts hold up better than 9mm head studs. 11mm outer heads studs offer a drastic increase in overall clamping force of the cylinder head.
