Which Ferrari 360s can be converted?

This kit is for the Ferrari 360 Modena and 360 Spider with the F1 gearbox, built from 1999 to 2005. Choose the left-hand drive (LHD) or right-hand drive (RHD) version when you order, because the pedal box and other parts differ between them.

The 360 was sold with either a gated 6-speed manual or the F1 automated manual, and most buyers chose F1. The F1 car uses the same basic transaxle as the manual car. The conversion replaces the F1 shifting and clutch hardware with manual parts: clutch pedal, gated shifter, cables and linkage.

What’s in the 360 conversion kit?

The 360 kit is built around genuine Ferrari parts and includes:

  • Gated 6-speed shifter with gate plate, shift knob and surround trim
  • Clutch pedal
  • Clutch master cylinder with hydraulic clutch line
  • Shift cables from the shifter to the gearbox
  • Gearbox shift selector housing and linkage
  • Brackets and hardware

About 95% of the kit is genuine OEM parts. The other 5% are small pieces Ferrari no longer makes or sells, which we supply so the kit arrives complete.

Why convert an F1 360 to manual?

Factory manual 360s cost more

Hagerty’s Price Guide values a manual 360 at one-third to 50% more than an F1 car. Buying a clean F1 car and converting it is usually the cheaper way into a gated 360.

What converted 360s sell for

A 1999 360 Modena converted to a 6-speed manual sold for $130,000 in August 2026, against an average of about $85,000 for F1 Modenas and $154,000 for factory manual Modenas (CLASSIC.COM).

An early F1 system, retired

The 360 was one of the first mid-engine Ferraris to use F1 paddle shifting, with a hydraulic pump, accumulator and actuators doing the shifting and clutch work. After the conversion, a gated shifter and clutch pedal take over.

Installation options

Install it yourself or at your shop

The 360 conversion suits an experienced home mechanic or a Ferrari specialist. The pedal box mounting is shared between F1 and manual cars, which keeps the cabin side of the job straightforward. Around 40 hours of labour is a commonly reported figure for 360 and F430 conversions. Every kit comes with unlimited free install support until the conversion is done right.

Does the gearbox need to come out?

It depends on the clutch hydraulics. Keeping the F1-type clutch fluid lets the conversion be done with the gearbox in place. Switching the clutch to brake fluid means removing the gearbox to change the throw-out bearing and remove the F1 clutch parts, which is a good time to replace a worn clutch.

Coding

The engine ECUs need to be set up for a manual gearbox after the conversion. Remote coding guidance is included free. Hands-on coding is quoted separately.

Ferrari 360 manual conversion FAQ

How much does it cost to convert a Ferrari 360 to manual?

Our kit is $14,490 USD with free shipping and duties included, or $23,990 USD installed in British Columbia.

Does the kit fit the 360 Spider?

Yes. The kit fits the 360 Modena coupe and the 360 Spider with the F1 gearbox.

Is there a kit for right-hand drive 360s?

Yes. Choose LHD or RHD when you order. The price is the same.

Kits ship within 3 business days of your order and are typically delivered in 1–2 weeks. Local pickup in British Columbia is available with a $1,000 USD deposit.
